Steamed Pumpkin with Ginger and Garlic
A light and aromatic dish that combines the sweet flavor of pumpkin with spicy ginger and garlic.
Ingredients:
- 500 g pumpkin, sliced thinly
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 piece ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Chopped spring onions (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Slice the pumpkin thinly and steam it in a steamer basket for about 10–15 minutes until soft.
- Meanwhile, sauté the garlic and ginger in a pan with a little oil until fragrant.
- Place the steamed pumpkin on a plate and top it with the ginger-garlic mixture.
- Garnish with soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped spring onions.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
